Because your mailbox is probably full of uninspiring things like bills and junk mail and a dead bug, and your email inbox is just plain FULL.

This will be so much more fun to receive, and you’ll be less likely to miss it.

Creative Side Quest costs $11 per month.

Billed monthly for the month ahead, so your first envelope comes the month after you join.

No commitment, you can stop renewal anytime. (We’ll make sure you get the quests you’ve paid for, even if that comes the month after.)

CSQ is sent out monthly, in the first week of each month.

Snail mail delivery times vary (which is part of the magic!), but typically you’ll get your quest in the first 2 weeks of the month.

In the future, we hope to be able to offer a “Single Quest,” where we’ll send you a single envelope containing a randomly selected past quest.

We don’t yet have enough excess inventory of past quests for this option, but we’re working on it!

If you haven’t received a quest by the end of the month AFTER you join, please send an email to melanie@storyfuel.co and we’ll figure it out together!

When quests are returned to us, we reach out via email to confirm your address before re-shipping. Check for the address confirmation email in your spam folder.

But if it wasn’t returned to us and it never got to you, we just have to assume the USPS just ate it. Which happens sometimes.

First off, thanks for your patience! 💜

CSQ isn’t some big corporate machine. Right now, It’s just me in my garage.

So if I haven’t replied yet, it’s probably because I’m stuffing envelopes, quality-checking prints,
obsessing over stamp placement, sourcing materials, or waiting in an endless line at the post office.

Because I am also a human, I somewhat occasionally need to stop working to eat, sleep, shower, load the dishwasher, shop for groceries, spend time with my family, and other such human activities.

I promise, a delay in response doesn’t mean I’m trying to scam you or steal your money (If I were, I’d probably pick a way that involved getting a lot fewer papercuts in the process).
